Our support group is part of the Parkinson's Queensland Incorporated network. PQI works with Parkinson's Australia and other State Parkinson's bodies to lobby the government for recognition and support of PwP in Australia. Apart from the assistance they can provide to members directly, becoming a member will help swell their representative numbers so that lobbying the government will make more impact. Why not visit their website and see for yourself.
