Lions Club Toowoomba West answered our call for donations to assist our Support Group to run our local activities for People with Parkinson's.  We do find it is a 'big ask' to continually run fundraisers while still offering services and caring for loved ones.  So instead of us running the Sausage Sizzle, the Lions Club ran it for us, donating all takings to our group.

LIONS CLUB TOOWOOMBA WEST.

Infinity Specialists is a local practice of specialised physicians providing expert  services in the fields of geriatrics, stroke, rehabilitation and Parkinson's Disease . Recently the Administration Team, with the Doctors, prepared three Easter Raffles, sold tickets and donated all the takings to our group.  What a marvellous gesture!

Here is Peter thanking the staff and providing them with a Certificate of Appreciation on our behalf.  Peter designs these certificates for us and uses his wonderful calligraphy skills to enhance them.

Another wonderful service club, Toowoomba Wilsonton Lions Club, very generously gave us a sizeable donation recently - April certainly turned out to be Parkinson's April Awareness Month for us.  After addressing the group about Parkinson's Disease and the Toowoomba Parkinson's Support Group, Carol accepted the cheque from President, Chris, on our behalf.  Such wonderful support from these hard-working clubs.
